As usual, soup does not photograph in a very exciting way, even when it tastes nice. This soup is from a great soup cookbook I have, called A Soup for Every Day, by the New Covent Garden Soup Company - and it has, literally, a soup for every day (except maybe, 29th February) - 365 recipes. They are arranged somewhat seasonally, though not exclusively, but enough. And I've cooked lots of them (nowhere near all of them, mind you), though I'm not sure I've done any of the cold ones or sweet "dessert soups".
