Apr 6th: Beef Bourginon, carrots, saute potatoes

Tasting Notes: This is one of the best slow-cooker cookbooks I think  - fairly sophisticated without being too complicated. I've made a number of the recipes in it, including this one previously. It's an excellent way to use up the better part of a bottle of red wine won on a tombola or in a raffle, which isn't very nice to drink...
