It was so miserable and chilly that we really didn't fancy what we'd planned for dinner (a pasta with a pea & watercress pesto - too summery), so I had a dig around in the fridge and freezer, and a package of sausages and a pot of mascarpone later, came up with this. I skinned the sausages and used the meat. Also added an onion, some mustard, some fennel. It was much more hearty and warming on a wintery June evening than what we'd planned...
