Saw this in a group of recipes posted by a friend on Facebook; it's from a website called Food52.com. It was nice - not highly spicy (but then we are used to pretty spicy things) and not very sour (only had just a little over a tablespoon of tamarind paste - would probably use 2 tbsp if cooking it again). I really liked the long-cooked onions, but thing the whole thing might develop even more in flavour if cooked longer. But easy to do - and for those for whom these things matter, the recipe is vegan, as well (depending on the noodles you use - or, of course, you can do like I did and use rice).
