I long ago got rid of this cookbook, which I almost never cooked anything from (the main issue was that it was a regular hardback sized book with no photos, and I found it hard to get inspired by it) but this soup, which we make fairly regularly, I tore out the page for! It's Geoff's favourite but because of the mushrooms (Sarah, Olivia) and the eggs (Olivia) we don't make it as much as we might. However, he's been asking for it recently, and as he's away for the next week, I thought it was a good time to have it.
