Although it seems to have stopped now, it was really snowing hard on the way home from school - as you can tell, you can't even see the far side of the field!
It took forever to get the kids home - they wanted to stay and build snowmen, etc. Personally, I was really cold and just wanted to go home...

I'm glad the kids got some snow. They were so much wanting to be in Maryland during our big December snow.
I'm guessing the schools did NOT close in your neighborhood. If one walks, there isn't much problem getting to school. I wonder if the teachers who live further away had trouble. I wouldn't think the local governments would have much in the way of snowplows.
