This is one of those books which gets hyped everywhere and then you worry it won't live up to the hype, but after a recommendation from someone I know, who I know I have some similar tastes in books to, I decided to go ahead and give it a go and was not disappointed. Read it in literally one sitting. Very enjoyable and beautifully written. And if I did pretty much anticipate where it was going to go, well, that's ok too.
