What better on a rainy bank holiday than to curl up with a good book? I have read a number of this author's books before and really enjoyed them; this one is sort of a follow-up to My Name is Lucy Barton, and it's a story cycle (connected short stories). Her writing is just amazing. It's not surprising she won the Pullitzer Prize.
