Lunch, 3/8/19: Salad at Cava


Today we went for lunch at a make-your-own-salad/sandwich place which the waitress at Great Sage had recommended the other day (we were chatting about the lack of selection for vegetarians and vegans in US restaurants). This place was great because you could choose exactly what you wanted and build it up from the ground - so you could have meat or not, and lots of toppings. It was a great place to take someone who is a vegetarian and gluten intolerant (Olivia) and a meat eater (Mom) at the same time. Worked well for me, too, because while I do eat meat, I don't eat a lot of it, so I could choose something else easily.
