Really enjoyed this amusing story of the unexpected death...or not, as the case may be...of Elner Shimfissle, resident of Elmwood Springs, MO. Fannie Flagg always writes with a great sense of humour and this story was no exception. I really enjoyed the very short chapters - almost just glimpses into a moment in each character's life - and flipping back and forth between characters all the time. It was a cute story as well, and just really readable.
