Two different books by Dutch authors, in translation, from two different bookshops in Amsterdam. One right around the corner from our hotel, which looked like a great bookshop. When I brought the book to the counter (The Tea Lords) he said "It's a Dutch classic." Good, I said, that's what I wanted!
