A day at Wisley

Today, my brother-in-law came down to London for a day - he does this a couple of times a year - and instead of meeting up in central London, he came out to us and we drove down to Wisley Gardens - the flagship gardens of the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society). He's an avid gardener, so it seemed fitting.

The flowers were lovely - especially the borders and a lot of the annuals, and we had a nice time walking around looking at everything in some detail. Geoff even came with us, so it was a nice family day out.

This amused me - someone grew fuschias in Olympic rings - obviously not in all the colours, but it's still a clever idea.

And here's the requisite photo of Olivia drinking something outdoors (we had lunch outside as well, at the start of the visit, but I forgot to take a photo) - as a bonus you get to see Alex eating chocolate ice cream as well.
