We're shortly going to begin doing some work in these two rooms - new floor, removing the rounded arch (probably), painting, putting some storage in on either side of the chimney breast, and so on. Or rather, we aren't doing it ourselves, but we are having it done. In preparation for this, we have moved out all the bookcases and books, and the sofa's going, too. For the moment, we've still got a few items of furniture in the rooms, while we use them, but except for the dining room table & chairs, those items will move out while the work is done, as well. We'll be posting lots of pictures when it's all in process - hopefully starting sometime in the coming week...
