Because we are planning to do some work very soon on our dining room/family room, we have moved all the books from these rooms (this is where most of our books live - and we have a LOT of books, even after being ruthless in thinning them out as part of this whole process). This includes the cookbooks, most of which have been put upstairs for the time being. One which I did not let leave the kitchen vicinity (we expect the remodelling to take 5-6 weeks) was my New Covent Garden Soup book, as I use it a lot - perhaps not every week, but many weeks.
