On our trip up to town on Christmas Eve, Alex got this puzzle of (mostly) Dr Who villains (the TARDIS is also featured). It has 1000 pieces, and unfortunately, many of them are in shades of grey and silver, so it's a bit slow going, but we made reasonable progress. We have now, however, rolled it up in our puzzle keeper, put away for the next time - probably next weekend. The beginning of puzzles is always the slow part; once you get a lot of stuff in the centre it's much easier. We don't really have a good place to leave them out partly assembled, though, so it's good we can roll it up and put it aside if needed.
